ISTP Memes

ISTPs are results-oriented, hard-working people who are often referred to as one of the most serious-minded personalities from the 16 types of MBTI. People with this personality type enjoy being alone and stand out with their completely independent nature. Due to the fact that they spend the most time alone, people rarely understand their sense of humor. But it doesn’t mean that they can’t find time to tell teasing jokes or make fun of people.

Unlike personality types such as ENFP or ENTP,  ISTPs don’t really enjoy amusing jokes. They are very sarcastic people and therefore, most of their jokes tend to be full of dark humor. People can’t really notice their dry humor and even if they try to offend others, often their efforts stay unnoticed. But ISTPs don’t mind as long as they satisfy themselves. They consider humor as a great way to express themselves and release bad emotions. According to their Thinking (T) personality and lack of empathy, they don’t really care about the fact that their sarcastic remarks hurt other people’s feelings.

Surprisingly, other people’s stupid humor makes them laugh. Instead of getting rid of people in such situations, ISTPs prefer to tease them and make them realize the flows of their sense of humor. That’s probably one of the main reasons why people don’t enjoy telling jokes around ISTPs. But don’t worry if you’re an ISTP because the Crafters, as they are often called, have plenty of positive personality characteristics that compensate for their emotionless nature. In this article, we will focus on ISTP memes and discuss their sense of humor in detail.

ISTP Humor – Are They Funny Enough?

ISTPs are introverted (I) people who don’t really like sharing their ideas with others and expressing themselves using humor. However, since they enjoy teasing people, their sarcastic nature is usually obvious when they interact with someone. ISTPs’ humor contains so much sarcasm that people don’t even doubt they have a great sense of humor. Of course, it doesn’t mean that they enjoy ISTPs’ ironic remarks. Usually, when ISTPs try to be careful not to offend anybody, they keep their jokes to themselves, but once they open up, the whole set of sarcastic jokes come directly and there’s no way for others’ feelings not to get hurt.

ISTPs hate silly jokes. They can’t stand when people are acting like children and reveal their playful side. But occasionally, even they can become foolish and reveal their different side, hidden deep in their personality (but only when they are extremely happy or excited). Still, ISTPs are considered fun people because their sarcastic humor tends to be very intelligent. And everyone loves being around clever people. Consequently, some people just hate ISTPs’ dry sense of humor and try to get rid of their company, while others adore being around them.

It’s noteworthy that ISTPs love teasing people but usually, they do it around their friends or close people as they realize they will understand their humor. They enjoy cheering up their small group of people and making them laugh. And generally, their friends do the same thing and everybody feels comfortable. However, ISTPs hate when strangers try to use dark humor around them. This can make them frustrated. And when they are angry, everybody better step back and leave them alone! Sometimes, ISTPs humor looks observational. Since they are direct people, they tend to tell the truth, and using humor is a great way to do so.

Funniest ISTP Memes

Although ISTPs are rather serious people, it doesn’t mean that ISTP memes are less funny! In fact, their independent personality and strict nature are some of those characteristics that people tend to make fun of. ISTPs tend to over-analyze everything but surprisingly, they still often make spontaneous decisions and act impulsively. After taking a look at ISTP memes, you’ll quickly notice that getting these people angry isn’t worth anything. Why? Because ISTPs get frustrated more quickly than you can even blink. And when they get angry, you should pray to survive.

That’s right! ISTPs are true villains in everyday life. They always maintain their “I Don’t Care” attitude and there’s no way that you can change their opinion on anything.

Importance of Memes for ISTPs

ISTPs enjoy memes. And do you know why? Because they adore making fun of people for their silly sense of humor. Considering the fact that not all the memes are full of rational, clear ideas, it’s very easy to tease people for making stupid memes. Therefore, ISTPs often look for memes on the internet and enjoy offending their friends for laughing at silly memes.

Another reason why they enjoy memes is that ISTPs focus on the present moment. Memes often help them to keep pace with today’s world and stay focused on their current problems. Besides, they indeed lack social skills, and searching for memes about various personality types helps them to get to know people better and understand their preferences. But unlike other personalities, they don’t think of memes as something to have fun and never use them to improve their mood when they feel bad.

Bottom Line

Finally, we can conclude that ISTPs have a controversial sense of humor. While one part of the public enjoys their sarcastic jokes and dark humor, others find them offensive and believe that ISTPs don’t have the right to tease people in that way. But as we already said, ISTPs don’t care. They don’t value social relationships and are not sympathetic about others’ feelings. Therefore, they never hesitate to tell an offensive joke and have fun.
